Look 5 – “Wearing a Puddle”
(Silk Chiffon Gown with 36 Individually Embroidered Layers)
A soft flood of memory and form, Wearing a Puddle is built from 36 silk chiffon layers
– each one cut by hand and embroidered individually before being assembled into a voluminous pool around the body.
The result is a garment that ripples as it moves, like water spreading outward across stone.
Light passes through the layers unevenly, creating shifting depths and soft reflections, as if the body itself is disappearing into silk.
This is not a dress worn to walk — it is one worn to stay still and shimmer.
Runway piece. One of one.
